Ένα πολύ ιδιαίτερο project ξεκινάει σήμερα 24/6 λίγο πριν τα μεσάνυχτα…

Μετά την αναγκαστική μετάθεση του 5^th Kitesurf Festival από τις 25&26 Ιουνίου στις 9 & 10 Ιουλίου λόγω κακοκαιρίας, έπρεπε να λύσουμε και ένα άλλο μικρό «θεματάκι». Τι θα κάνουμε με τον προσκεκλημένο μας παγκόσμιο πρωταθλητή Youri Zoon.

Για την ιστορία, πριν από αρκετές εβδομάδες επικοινωνήσαμε με τον Youri για να έρθει στο 5^th Kitesurf Festival και αυτός αποδέχτηκε την πρόσκληση κάτι το οποίο μας ενθουσίασε, εμάς και όλους τους φίλους του Kitesurf Festival. Δεν είναι λίγο ένας τέτοιος αθλητής να επισκέπτεται την χώρα σου, το event σου.

Αμέσως άρχισαν προετοιμασίες, προγράμματα, και… ήρθε η αναβολή. Δυστυχώς, το πρόγραμμα του Youri ήταν αδύνατο να αλλάξει και να έρθει στις 9 & 10 Ιουλίου καθώς θα βρίσκεται εκείνη την περίοδο στην Αμερική για demo της Slingshot.

Όταν τον ρωτήσαμε αν θα ήθελε να έρθει χωρίς φεστιβάλ, αυτό που μας απάντησε ήταν, «αν είναι σημαντικό για εσάς έρχομαι!»

Ε, λοιπόν ήταν σημαντικό και πολύ μάλιστα. Δεν είναι εύκολο να υπάρξουν τέτοιες ευκαιρίες και όταν παρουσιάζονται τις πιάνεις και τις ξεζουμίζεις.

Ο Youri έρχεται σήμερα 24/6, περίπου τα μεσάνυχτα στο Ελευθέριος Βενιζέλος. Από εκεί ξεκινάει ένα mini tour με την ελληνική ομάδα της Slingshot και το WBSF για προορισμούς της Ελλάδας που ακόμα δεν έχουν καθοριστεί. Μαζί με την ομάδα θα είναι και ο Ορέστης Ζούμπος και ο Θέμης Λαμπρίδης (Mr Thing About Greece), που θα φροντίσουν να μην ξεφύγει τίποτα από τους φακούς τους.

Τρεις ημέρες, αυτοκίνητα, πλοία, λεωφορεία, μηχανάκια, laptop, tablets, 2 φωτογράφοι, 2 filmer, τρεις αθλητές, δύο περίεργοι και ένα hashtag – #whereisyourizoon.

Από σήμερα το βράδυ λοιπόν, ξεκινάει ένα photo bulletin στη σελίδα του WBSF με φωτογραφίες που ψιλοδείχνουν που, τι ποιος.

Τι πρέπει να κάνεις? Γράψε comment στα facebook posts στη σελίδα του WBSF που έχουν το #whereisyourizoon, για το που πιστεύεις ότι βρίσκεται ο Youri Zoon, και μπες σε ένα διαδικτυακό gift giveaway με δωράκια από τους χορηγούς του 5th Kitesurf Festival. Κανόνες δεν υπάρχουν… just comment όσο θες!

Όλα τα comments θα μαζευτούν μέχρι και την Τρίτη 28/6 στις 00:00. Tα δώρα θα κληρωθούν το Σάββατο το βράδυ 9/7 στο Kitesurf Festival!

A very special project starts today 24/6 just before midnight …

After the forced postponement of 5th Kitesurf Festival for the 25th & 26th of June due to bad weather, we had to solve another small «issue». What would we we do with our world champion guest, Youri Zoon!

For the record, several weeks ago we invited Youri to come to 5th Kitesurf Festival and he accepted the invitation something that made us really excited, and all the friends of the Kitesurf Festival. It is a really big thing such an athlete to visit your country and your event.

Immediately all the preparations began and then….. the postponement came. Unfortunately, the Youri’s program was impossible to change and come again on 9th and 10th of July, as at that time he will be in America for a Slingshot demo.

When we asked him if he would like to come without the festival being held, he told us, «if it is important for you, i will!»

Well it was very important indeed. It is not easy to have such opportunities and when you do, you have to grab them.

Youri will arrive on 24/6, around midnight at Eleftherios Venizelos. From that moment, a mini tour begins with the Slingshot Greek team and WBSF, for destinations in Greece, still undetermined. Along with the team will be Orestes Zoumpos and Themis Lampridis (Mr Thing About Greece), who will capture every moment.

Three days, cars, buses, ships, motorbikes, laptop, tablets, 2 photographers, 2 filmer, three athletes, two weirdos and a hashtag – #whereisyourizoon.

From tonight then, a photo bulletin starts in the WBSF page with photos whch gives a hint of where, what and who.
